We are seeking a graduate research assistant to work with Dr. Kathy Lu in the center of computational mathematics on image-based mathematical biology. The project will develop optimization algorithms and theory with partial differential equation as constraints. A background in quantitative science (computer science, electrical engineering, physics or mathematics) is required. Applicants must have a experience and a strong interest in scientific computing.
